This includes registering the web site with InterNic for a name (i.e. www.yournamehere.com). This also includes web site hosting (the physical storing of your web page). The development of a site is usually the major expense, but there are higher and lower levels of development and hosting. The range of cost will depend on how much content you'd like to present to your viewers and the functionality of the web site. Do you want an online store with a shopping cart system and real-time credit card transactions? That type of site would most likely start at a higher price. Q. How long does it take to create a web site and have it up and running? A. Approximately 3-4 weeks for a basic site and longer for more intricate ones. Once we have all of the materials needed to complete the site, then it doesn't take too long. If we have to wait for content to be created then that time expands. We'll be sure to give you a good estimate before starting the job and do our best to stay on track. Q. Does my business need a web site? A. That we can't tell you with out finding out more information about your business. Not all businesses need web sites and for some it would just be a waste of money. Do I really need to market my web site once it's completed? A. Yes. Without marketing and promoting your web site, how do you expect people to find it? The best web site could be designed with the greatest care in mind, but if you don't let people know about it you will see little return on your investment.
